With each sweater only being allowed up to four thread colours, I was reminded of screen printing in primary school in the 1980's, and Andy Warhol's experiments in the 1960's with Campbells Soup Cans, Marilyn Monroe and colour. My mind was like what really could you do with only 4 colours? It turns out quite a lot!
The most 'normal' looking of the collection the Afternoon Delights Sweater is the only one close to it's original colour scheme, all the others have been pared back, reimagined and changed to show a stunning but totally different view of my Mum's (Mom's) garden.

Blues, yellow, black, pink, mustard, chilli red, rust, greens, orange, and bone are all colours you will see amongst these sweaters - but only ever four at once and sometimes only two! It's been an interesting, fun and creative process.
